The union  milk Procurement wing consists of both procurement and Animal Health Coverage. The procurement activity of the union is collecting milk from 480 societies. through 23 milk collection- routes in both Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi district and 85000 LPD

 Sale of Cattle Feed

 This union is purchasing cattle feed from Madurai and Erode Cattle feed plants and selling it to the societies based on their requirements.

 Feed & Fodder

 This union has a fodder plot around 4.0 acres in which CO2 grass has been cultivated and the fodder slips are being supplied to the required societies.  

During the year 1999 - 2000 again equipments like Milk Cans and Milko-Testers were given to 22 societies at a total cost of Rs 1,80,000/- ( 80 Cans and 2 Milko-Testers). Again for  the year 2000 - 2O01 it has been recommended to the Government to issue 100 Milk Cans and 4 Milko-testers and one Auto milk Collection centre to 32 societies under 50% subsidy for a total sum of Rs. 4,45,000/- for the year 2001 - 2002 proposal has been sent to the Government to issue 3 sets of Milko-Testers,100 Trevices, and 1000 Milk Cans under 100% subsidy.

During the year 1998-99 equipments like milk Cans and Milko-Testers were supplied to 36 societies to a total cost of 2,24,000 under 100% subsidy (140 Cans and 1 Milko-Tester)
