The District area operation covers totally 1944 revenue villages, 13 taluks, 39 Blocks and 4165 villages in both Vellore and Thiruvannamalai districts. The milk procurement  activities are being carried out by 6 teams namely at Vellore, Ambur, Koddakat, Polur, Thiruvanamalai and Cheyyar. With existing facilities, the union is providing Animal Health Cover once a week to 564 DCS through 9 veterinary routes. AI facilities to 305 DCS and Foot & Mouth Disease vaccination programs are being carried  periodically.
