FEED AND FODDER

To enable the milk producers to feed their milch animals with   the concentrated feed mixture, the union purchases the feed from Erode, KPM-Tvr Dcmpu's and distribute to the, DCS on basis the of their requirements. Under fodder development programme, seeds like Lueerene, Maize, Col, Beersem, Stylo varieties are being distributed to the farmer members. So far 1236 fanner members have been benefited and 2117 acres of land has been covered under fodder cultivation.

MILCH ANIMAL SUBSIDY SCHEME

The scheme is being implemented from 1992-93 onwards by this union with the assistance of State Govt. through the. TCMPF Ltd, Chennai. Under Adi-dravida Welfare, Adi-dravida converted Christianity  and THADCO schemes subsidy of Rs. 4000/- per animal is provided to each identified beneficiary. A total subsidy of Rs.3,49,72,250 /- has been released to 6763 beneficiaries for the purchase of 13526 milch animals up to 2000  

 CALF -REARING SCHEME

To help the down-trodden milk producers in keeping the genetically potential Heifer calves by scientific feeding management monthly ration of concentration feed is being supplied at 100% subsidy. In this scheme, 1375 Adi- dravida beneficiaries have been identified and a subsidy to the tune of Rs.1,46,85,000 is being released web APRIL 1996.

 TABCEDCO AND TAMCO SCHEME

 Tamilnadu Backward Class Economic Development Corporation and Tamilnadu Minorities Economic Development Corporation Schemes are being implemented from the year 1999-99 by providing two milch animals per beneficiary. The union act as an implementing agency to distribute the loan to the identified farmer member.

UNION TRAINING CENTRE

There is a Training center functioning with the help and guidance of the NDDB with the functional area of Kpm-Tvr, Dharmapuri and Vellore Union. 4501 Nos. of society personnel from the above three unions were given training in the fields like Artificial Insemination, AI Refresher training, Secretary training and management Committee training.
